About Jodie
Jodie was born on the North West Coast of Tasmania where she grew up with the ocean at her front door. She now resides in beautiful Howrah, Hobart in Southern Tasmania with her husband and mini groodle, Marli.
Portfolio
Jodie is self-taught and has experimented with many different mediums. Oil paint, however, has become her favourite medium for experimentation and creativity using mainly palette knives for mark making. She plays with light, shadow and colour in her paintings and particularly loves Tasmanian landscapes, flowers and animals.
